Waving;)) How are you doing and what a nice surprise to see you here. Seems like all the mods (and fun ones I might add) are here and I know this is going to be fab; actually ultra fab for sure.

I think you're the only Murkin stuck in that old thinking there, buddy. Time to reboot and upgrade your thought process. LOL Things are good! I hear things with the book are a great success! Congrats! Hugs to Minda for me!

Boo who?!? It takes more than that to scare me.

Who invited you? Actually, I was looking for your email address last night, but don't tell anybody. Good to see you, Bill!

Welcome Bill! Now your experience would make a good book!

Profile Information

About Me:
Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist, Luthier, Writer (Tech columnist), Author (The Geek Gap), and Speaker. I also dabble in writing science fiction and articles on ancient archeology. Married to Minda Zetlin, who is also my co-author of The Geek Gap, and live in Woodstock, NY, where we have three very strange cats - one Cornish Rex, and two Sphynx cats.
Training/Experience/Places I've Worked:
Long history in community, going back to the mid-80's on services like GEnie, Bitnet, BiX, Delphi, and more. Was on AOL before it was called that - Quantum Computer Services, called Q-Link, on my ancient Commodore 64. Yes, ok, so I'm old! ;-)
Former AOL Guide (was Guide BOT and Guide WEB), and Roadie with AOL RoadTrips, and moderator of various AOL communities, like Writers Den and Orson Scott Cards' Hatrack Village.
'97-2000, was Community Manager at Tripod.com, then Community Director for Lycos Networks when Lycos acquired Tripod, and finally in 2000 was hired as Community Director for OneBody.com.
Now I work independently as a consultant, write technology for assorted publications and websites, and speak at corporations and universities as co-author of The Geek Gap.

Our blidget (yes, it's a word)
