Hello it is always good to find other hosts from talkcity. If my memory serves me correctly you were the forum manager for #science-visions (one of my favorite rooms/forums both to chat in and to work in) I started out as TCCyborg and then later through the talkcity shopping network became CCCyborg. As I have been going through college I have done a little volunteer work at the observatory at my college and got a little bit into amateur astronomy. Which reminds me i need to get my telescope repaired. I thought i would say hello and it is good to find other people who worked with or for talkcity i have many fond memories there.

Dad is doing well. He is over his knee surgery and busy working on his fishing reels.

It's great to see you all here! It really is a small world. How are things with Prospero? Tell everyone hi for me.

Brenda,

Not sure if you remember me. I used to be with Virtual Professionals and I believe my Dad worked with you on ESPN!

Hey Brenda!

A few years since GatorHole days, eh? Fun to see some familiar ascii - should I invite Androo to the party? :-)

Cheers,

Howdy.

Sunday mornings are so much fun.
Almost as much as late Friday nights after Kobe sneezes.

Oh I love Charleston. Hugo and Katrina immediately come to mind but there are so many similarities for our historic coastal cities aren't there?

Today is A Day That is Filled with Surprises......

An Anything Can Happen Day..... Sound familiar? Does it ring a bell and make you want to burst into song. This was even before I started wearing High Heels. If you cannot find the answer in this day and age of super duper search engines and Wikis, you need to stay in for Recess and find the answer. It is fun to be on assignment. Gawd, I sound like some cheerleader and we need to dispense with that notion immediately.

I worked a lot of hours today; I always work a lot of hours but it keeps me sa… Continue

Who Would Have Thought...A Day Late and a Dollar Short......hmmm

This proves my point about time slipping away and here it is Wednesday and not a Blog post in sight from me and I was the one that touted "being consistent" was important. No excuses, except life suddenly gets in the way of my best intentions to get on a regular Blog schedule. I have to admit though, I am a tough task master on myself and need to just go with the flow so to speak. I work a lot of hours as we all do and work does take precedence over all else, but my "tomorrow I will write someth… Continue

Fab Fridays Fab

Fridays were always Fab when I was growing up and brings back a flood of memories. What first comes to mind is Friday was the end of the work week for my parents. Traditionally we went out to dinner on Fridays and then to "food shop" and to this day can remember the price of a full order at the supermarket was $18 and change. I can distinctly remember the bill never going over $20.00! Fridays also signaled the day my father got paid and I would get my allowance. It also signaled the start of the… Continue

Thursday's This and That....

As we Twitter away our days going for Google Greatness, those of us involved in the virtual world can speak volumes of what I call, Techno Babble. Just the other day I was helping a client new to the Internet work on an online campaign and said, "We should start a Virtual Viral Video campaign." Now to most of us, this phrase rolls off our tongue without much trouble, but imagine someone never hearing these words try to conquer the jargon of online marketing, publicity and promotion… Continue
